No seminars are scheduled at this timePlease check back laterYork SeminarsLocal seminars are held periodically. The topics of these seminars varies widely but in general cover topics that are not, or, cannot be covered in normal weekly classes. We don't feel a need to schedule seminars for our students on topics that we can, and should, cover in our normal classes. These extracurricular topics include Firearms (pistol and rifle), Anti-Car Jacking Techniques, Live Blade Cutting, Long Weapons, and Emergency "Self-Defense Related" Trauma Management, to name a few. Scheduling Seminars in Your AreaTraining seminars and workshops can be scheduled in your area through the York Bujinkan Dôjô, with Greg Stough, Judan (10th Dan), as primary instructor. All seminars are packed with information, we do not "spoon feed" seminar participants, as some instructors do. We strive for fast paced and intensive programs that are structured to develop as many skills, and transfer as much information, to each participant as possible. This instructor has personally attended many seminars in which there ware very few skills transferred to the participants. The instructor may have "entertained" the students, but very few of the skills presented were really learned by the participants. In our seminars do not spoon feed participants. We structure our seminars so that everyone learns a lot of new skills, while improving their existing skills. Many topics can be presented during these seminars. This includes those relating directly to the Bujinkan Dôjô (Ryû specific Kata and skills, etc.), or, other more general self-defense topics, as referenced above. Just tell us your interests or needs, and we will design a program for you. If the subject area is not within our current capabilities, we try to refer you to another source that can better fulfill your needs. We only provide training in those areas that we possess skill and understanding. |
